My aim and my goal is for her to be able to see a life that she probably wouldn’t otherwise have been able to see and to open up her mind and subvert some things that I know that’s in her.
Genia lives in North Carolina with her 8-year-old niece, Nadya. Genia is raising Nadya on her own and she is very grateful for pandemic relief measures that were there for her and Nadya. Genia credits these provisions with offering them much-needed stability, security, and joy during uncertain times. Genia is committed to providing a nurturing environment for Nadya and raising her to be the best she can be.
